"The atmosphere was great. The service was great. The food quality was disappointing. - full English breakfast ingredients tasted very cheap for £11. The drinks we ordered were also not great. I’m sure their baked goods are nice though, and I’m sure this would be an excellent and easy 5 stars if the ingredients were of better quality."

"Booked for an afternoon tea. Staff were friendly and polite. Food arrived really quickly and was all amazing tasty. Bread was soft and fillings were plentiful. Sausage roll was still warm which I preferred. The atmosphere was warm and the wall-to-ceiling windows let in a lot of sunlight. They had a large selection of gluten free cakes and took some more treats home. Would highly recommend."

"I regularly visit the cafe for a treat with family and friends and I’m never disappointed. I love that there’s new additions of cakes to try and food is always served promptly. Staff welcoming and friendly and tables everything is tidy and clean. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely atmosphere inside, great tasting coffee and a large selection of tasty cakes on display. Warm welcome from all the staff who are really attentive to everyone that comes inside. The cheesy beans on toast was delicious and the bacon in my bacon roll was perfectly cooked and crispy!"

"Me and my wife go to The Bull Pen every weekend whilst out walking with the dogs. Staff are all lovely and friendly, coffee is spot on and the sweet treats are epic! Absolutely great place"

"I lovely welcome when we entered and a great atmosphere. The decor and seating were nice and the tables not too close together. The menu was good for a light lunch. Food was served quickly and was very tasty. Prices were good too Definitely a place worth visiting if you haven’t been before and I will be going again"

"Had a delicious fish finger roll with a latte. Just perfect for lunch! Sorry, no pictures available as I ate it too quickly . The staff were all friendly and welcoming.I was also impressed by their gluten free range of cakes, so I will be visiting again to try a slice"
